Position Impact and Purpose… This individual will operate machine shop equipment including but not limited to drill presses, grinders, millers, robotic equipment, and measuring devices to run production parts to meet customer specifications for quality and delivery within a tier one automotive supplier machining manufacturing facility. Commitment to YSK objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, and management as communicated in the handbook, shift meetings, postings Follow safety and environmental rules including: Personal Protective Equipment, Lock Out - Tag Out, Machine Guarding, and reporting of incidents Perform machine preventive maintenance according to the PM Sheet and document accurately Run parts within required tolerances as scheduled Properly pack and label products according to instructions Perform part checks according to the Part Check Sheet and document accurately Properly identify and contain non-conforming products and follow DMR (Defective Material Review) process and document accurately Properly perform tool changes and accurately complete Tool Check Logs Follow 5S guidelines to promote a safe, organized, and clean work area Perform rework, sorting, or inspection as needed Maintain simple reports and complete daily tie-in information Attend shift meetings and others applicable to the position 5S (Sort, Set-in-Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) your work space and 5S duties as assigned Perform other tasks as assigned Competencies and skills...
