Job Description

MyWorkChoice is hiring 2nd Shift Assembly Workers for light industrial and manufacturing clients. In this role, you'll assemble, inspect, and package products on a production line while following safety and quality standards. Using MyWorkChoice's tech-driven platform, you choose and manage your 2nd shift schedule, gaining flexibility with W-2 stability. You'll operate basic tools and equipment, read work instructions, meet production goals, and keep your area clean and organized. Responsibilities Assemble light industrial and manufacturing components on a 2nd shift schedule following standardized work instructions Operate basic hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently Inspect parts and finished products for quality, reporting defects or issues to supervisors Follow all safety, housekeeping, and PPE guidelines in production and warehouse areas Meet hourly/daily production quotas while maintaining accuracy and quality standards Read and follow work orders, labels, and basic diagrams or assembly drawings Collaborate with team leads and shift supervisors to adjust to changing production needs Use My Work Choice scheduling app to select and confirm assigned shifts and maintain attendance Support line changeovers, basic equipment setups, and material staging as directed Complete required logs, checklists, and basic documentation for production and quality Required Skills Assembly line operations Basic hand tool use Reading work instructions and diagrams Quality inspection and defect identification Warehouse and production safety practices PPE usage and OSHA awareness Basic production documentation and labeling Time management and quota tracking Material handling and staging Using mobile apps for scheduling and timekeeping
