Job Description
Cargill seeks a Production Technician I to support safe, efficient manufacturing of food and industrial products. In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and follow strict safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities include material handling, recording production data, performing routine inspections, and supporting housekeeping and maintenance tasks. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment that values integrity, continuous learning, and innovation, contributing to Cargill's mission of sustainable food and agriculture solutions worldwide. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment according to procedures Follow all safety, food safety, and quality guidelines and report hazards Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading and unloading Record production data, downtime, and quality checks accurately Perform basic equipment checks and assist with minor troubleshooting Support routine cleaning and housekeeping of work areas Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Participate in safety and operational training and continuous improvement activities Required Skills Production equipment operation Basic mechanical troubleshooting Quality control inspection Reading production schedules Safety and OSHA compliance
