The Production Assistant reports directly to the Production Manager and is primarily responsible for producing various wide-format specialty printing products. This position plays a critical role in the franchise's profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
80% Printing and Production (including measuring, printing and finishing) 10% Inventory Management and Equipment Maintenance 10% Miscellaneous (i.e., studio upkeep and deliveries)
Core Functions:
Assist with printing and production of client orders Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators and plotters Application of printed and cut vinyl Graphic installations Secondary Functions Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio Packing, labeling and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
Other Required Skills:
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills Team player who can accept constructive criticism Focus on quality assurance (ensuring the finished product is 100% correct before it leaves the studio) Superior time management focus in order to achieve efficiencies and meet strict deadlines Customer-service oriented (this is the lifeblood of SpeedPro Dayton) Excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay:
Up to $20.00 per hour
