As a Mill Helper, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, assisting with equipment setup, cleanup, and ensuring the smooth flow of production. Hours:

First Shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday (50-60 hours per week)

Pay:

$20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading coils onto pay-off reels
• Operate jib cranes and other machinery
• Help set up and tear down equipment and racking
• Support finishing tasks such as stacking and packaging finished goods
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Band and wrap finished products according to specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or mill environment
• Safety awareness, teamwork, responsibility, and initiative
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturing orders and quality check sheets Nice to

Have Skills:

• Experience with operating cranes or other heavy machinery
• Knowledge of packaging and shipping procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in a production or mill setting

Other Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stand for the duration of scheduled shift
• On-site work environment
