Full Job Description Summary:
Pre-Glue employees will be working on a manufacturing style line completing a variety of tasks at different points in the process. Many of these tasks consists of understanding paperwork associated with daily production schedules. This is a fast-pace, team-oriented environment where we strive to meet production demands while supporting each other whenever able. A clean work area must be maintained throughout each shift as well as company rules and safety regulations must be followed at all times.
Responsibilities:
Grade each piece of lumber coming down chain by visually inspecting all four sides, and making sure it is the proper grade for lay-up. Ability to hand apply glue on the Finger Joints with a handheld Finger Joint applicator. Ability to operate a small panel box, for out feed finger joint, rolls, chain, in rolls to make up, and make up section. Alert at all times. Know and utilize all Lock-out/Tag-out procedures associated with your duties. Report any potential machinery defects immediately. Report any potential safety risks immediately. Keep work area clean and orderly. Down time is clean up and minor maintenance time. Why Join Our Team?
