Job Description This role involves working on a fast-paced production line to visually inspect, sort, tag, and package products in a large manufacturing facility. You will help ensure product quality by identifying defects, removing faulty items from the line, and preparing finished goods for shipment while following safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Stand on a conveyor line to visually inspect products as they move down the line and identify any defects or irregularities. Remove defective products from the line promptly to maintain quality standards and prevent defective items from reaching customers. Tag and label incoming and outgoing products accurately and place them in the correct area for shipping or further processing. Perform routine packaging and packing tasks, including boxing, wrapping, and preparing products for shipment according to specifications. Support general production activities such as assembly, general labor, and warehouse tasks as needed to meet production goals. Assist with manufacturing inspection activities by checking products and materials for quality and consistency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including production lines, packaging stations, and warehouse zones. Follow all safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hair and beard nets, hearing protection, and hard hats. Operate or assist with basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and support machine operators as needed, following training and safety procedures. Work scheduled shifts and be available for frequent overtime, including working 6-7 days per week, to support continuous production operations. Lift up to 25 pounds routinely and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Derry, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
