Production Manager About the Role Ardent Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced, bilingual Assembly Line Leader to oversee daily operations on our production floor in West Warwick, RI. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team on a designated product line, ensuring that production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals are consistently met. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, weekly compensation, and strong potential for long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities- Provide direct floor leadership and supervision to assembly line operators to ensure on-time delivery and strict adherence to quality specifications.
- Distribute production work orders to line operators and coordinate daily tasks to meet customer demand and master schedule targets.
- Cross-train line workers, assess operational skill sets, and implement hands-on coaching to maintain continuous workflow and elevate overall performance.
- Monitor machine run rates, track daily metrics, and maintain production matrices for line visibility.
- Enforce all company safety rules, environmental standards, and proper machinery maintenance protocols.
- Identify bottlenecks, observe daily processes, and recommend practical continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Support overall team success to hit key plant performance indicators and profitability goals.
- Perform other related production leadership accountabilities as assigned. Key Qualifications & Requirements
Language Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.Experience:
Proven experience in a production leadership, line lead, or team leader capacity within a manufacturing or assembly environment.Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).Technical & Lean Skills:
Solid understanding of production scheduling, machine care, run-rate tracking, and Lean manufacturing principles.Core Competencies:
