Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly techniques to support production tasks. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process instructions to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required while maintaining proper safety procedures. Manage inventory through warehouse experience, including forklift operation for material movement and storage. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards. Assist in managing production or assembly teams by providing guidance on technical tasks and safety compliance. Requirements Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards in production environments. Hands-on experience with forklift operation, warehouse management, and heavy lifting tasks. Proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings or technical documentation. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform mechanical assembly and troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with familiarity in process improvement strategies such as lean manufacturing. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions diligently. Strong manual handling skills combined with adherence to safety protocols at all times.
