Print Production Operator (Printing & Bindery): Printville is a solid, proven, and reputable company with many years of success and customer loyalty. We are expanding and seeking a talented Print Production Operator to join our team. This individual must be highly committed to quality and attention to detail and believe in fostering company growth, pride, and productivity. What you'll be doing: Our Print Production Operator's primary responsibility is to review order job tickets and operate one or multiple pieces of digital press & bindery equipment, including but not limited to cutter, folder, and bookletmaker, according to order instructions. You must thoroughly understand machine setup, operating requirements, procedures, capabilities, and limitations to perform the full range of standard and specialized printing, folding, collating, and cutting to complete a combined finishing print product. The candidate is to be able to read and interpret written work orders or other job specifications containing bindery requirements. Maintain dimensional accuracy per instructions provided. Knowledge of machine requirements of various coated and uncoated types of paper stock. Skilled in setting up and adjusting machines for finishing operations and refining such adjustments for the weight, color, machinability, and quality of paper stock. Handles multiple issues while prioritizing orders to complete and deliver them as scheduled. Contributes to a positive work environment by being friendly, professional, and cooperative when dealing with other employees, suppliers, and customers. The candidate performs all tasks under minimal supervision and within established quality standards. The candidate understands and adheres to all established company policies regarding safety and personal conduct. Assures the highest level of professionalism and personal performance necessary to meet or exceed the company's performance goals for customer service excellence, safety, efficiency, and profitability. The candidate demonstrates reliability through attendance and punctuality. What you'll need: 3+ years' experience in a press or digital sheet-fed environment with the ability to set up and operate bindery equipment (or related experience) A high level of attention to detail and quality is required. Must be a team player, able to work in an open, supportive environment Ability to work independently and proactively to fulfill customer needs. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining focus. Positive attitude towards daily work, co-workers, and clients. Telephone and personal computer skills are essential.
