As a Production Associate, you will play an important role in the metal plating process, operating production equipment to apply protective metal coatings to various metal components. Production Associates are responsible for monitoring plating equipment, handling metal parts, inspecting finished products, and ensuring production meets established quality and safety standards. Job Responsibilities of Production Associate s Operate and monitor automated metal plating equipment used to process various metal components. Load, position, and unload metal parts on production lines. Ensure metal components are properly arranged and prepared for the plating process. Monitor machine operations and plating cycles to maintain consistent production and product quality. Use machine controls and follow established procedures to operate plating equipment. Inspect finished metal parts for coating consistency, visible defects, and overall quality. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production delays, and quality concerns. Maintain accurate production records and follow established work instructions. Assist with routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance as directed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures when working around industrial machinery and metal finishing processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications of Production Associate s Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn metal plating processes. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Basic math and computer skills preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift. Willingness to work overtime when required. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Production Associate s Work in an industrial metal finishing and manufacturing environment. Exposure to production machinery, noise, varying temperatures, and chemicals used in metal plating operations. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements. Ability to lift, carry, and move metal parts and production materials as required. Must be comfortable working around automated equipment and moving machinery. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures.
