Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Print & Apparel Production Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will run daily hands-on manufacturing operations, including operating commercial wide-format printers, die-cut plotters, Direct-to-Film (DTF) apparel printers, and commercial embroidery machines. You will take print and embroidery files from pre-press to final finished products while maintaining output quality and equipment health.
Schedule & Hours Regular Schedule:
Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30 paid hours/week, includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
Optional Hours:
Opportunity for extra hours/project work on Mondays when production volume requires. Key Responsibilities Setup, calibrate, and operate wide-format printers, DTF printers, vinyl/die-cut plotters, and multi-needle embroidery machines. Prep apparel and print substrates (hooping, weeding vinyl, loading DTF film/powder, trimming prints). Perform basic file checks in RIP software and machine interfaces to ensure correct sizing, color profiles, and cut paths. Execute basic daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment. Inspect finished goods for color accuracy, stitching precision, and placement alignment. Organize production queues to meet daily fulfillment schedules and shipping deadlines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience operating digital printers, plotters, DTF, or embroidery machinery preferred (will train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude). Basic familiarity with vector graphics or RIP software (e.g., Roland, Mimaki, Wilcom, Photoshop/Illustrator) is a strong plus. High attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
