$19.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience Part-Time | Approximately 15-25 hours per week | Weekdays About the Job Signarama Lacey is a locally owned sign company creating custom signs, vehicle graphics, window graphics, banners, dimensional lettering, and other visual communication products for businesses throughout the South Sound. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Part-Time Production & Installation Associate to help produce signs and graphics in our shop and assist with installations at customer locations. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, working with tools, and taking pride in producing quality work. Our workload changes from day to day, so this position requires flexibility. One part of the day may involve preparing vinyl graphics, while another may involve sign assembly, loading materials, helping with an installation, cleaning and organizing the shop, or working on several different projects. The right person will be comfortable changing priorities, staying organized, and helping wherever the workload requires. Because we are a small team, dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to help are extremely important. What You'll Do Production & Shop Work Weed, mask, trim, and prepare vinyl graphics Apply vinyl and graphics to various sign materials Assist with printers, vinyl plotters, laminators, and other production equipment Help assemble and finish signs, including mounting, trimming, drilling, prepping substrates, and packaging Accurately measure materials and follow job specifications Prepare signs, materials, tools, and equipment for installations Help load and unload materials and finished signs Keep the production area, tools, and equipment clean and organized Assist with other production tasks as priorities and workload change Training will be provided on equipment and sign-production processes. Installation & Field Support Assist with installing window graphics, wall graphics, basic signage, dimensional lettering, and vehicle graphics Prepare installation areas and help organize materials and tools Load and unload signs, ladders, tools, and installation equipment Safely use ladders and basic hand and power tools Work indoors and outdoors as needed Maintain a professional and friendly presence when working at customer locations Help keep company vehicles, tools, and installation equipment organized What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic Comfortable working at a steady pace and moving between different tasks as priorities change Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work Comfortable working with your hands, tools, materials, and equipment Able to follow written and verbal instructions Able to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic math Willing to learn new equipment, materials, and production techniques Able to work independently after being trained while also working well as part of a small team Able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders within established safety guidelines Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Consistent weekday daytime availability A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are needed for employees who operate company vehicles as part of installation work. Previous experience in a sign shop, print shop, installation, construction, fabrication, automotive graphics, manufacturing, or other hands-on work is a plus, but sign-industry experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
