Job Description

1st Shift | Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30
PM Pay Rate:
Up to $30/hr (Based on skill and Experience) Overview We're seeking a skilled Formulation Technician to support on-site production by managing ink preparation, color accuracy, and inventory coordination. This role plays a key part in keeping production running efficiently and meeting quality standards and is ideal for someone who can quickly step in and make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities Weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks to meet production schedules Perform color matching and quality checks using X-Rite or similar equipment Make ink adjustments at press to maintain color consistency and minimize downtime Document production data, QC results, and corrective actions Assist with scheduling and estimating ink requirements for upcoming jobs Maintain inventory levels, including managing excess and work-off materials Keep work area clean and organized Follow all safety protocols and site requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience with ink mixing, color matching, or printing/packaging operations Hands-on use of color measurement tools (X-Rite or equivalent) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong understanding of quality control and press support processes Good math and measurement skills The Legal Stuff Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
