Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in the manufacturing process.

Duties:

• Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes according to customer prints and specifications.
• Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts, and fills holes in metal parts.
• Packages parts as directed according shop order.
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
• Inspects parts to assure that all processes have been completed and match the shop order.
• Assures that all safety procedures, inspections procedures, start-up procedures and housekeeping procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG and TIG.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
