SHIFT SCHEDULE
Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM Work only 36 hours per week and get paid for 40 hours! Enjoy four days off every week! Two opportunities for pay increases in your first year! AFP is looking for a dependable, self-motivated
RESIN MIXER
to join our 5TH SHIFT team. If you're looking for a schedule that gives you more time with family, more flexibility during the week, or simply fewer days spent at work, this could be the opportunity you're looking for. No resin mixing experience? That's okay. We will train the right person. You will fit right in If you've worked in manufacturing, food production, brewing, production mixing, or any environment where following recipes, formulas, or detailed instructions is critical, we'd like to meet you!

As a Resin Mixer, you'll play an important role in our manufacturing process by accurately preparing resin mixtures used to create products found across North America.
AFP products are used in:
Window and door components Docks and seawalls Tool handles Highway sound barriers Industrial pallets Cooling towers Railroad crossing guards You'll be able to see the impact of your work in products used every day across the country!
AS A RESIN MIXER AT AFP, YOU'LL
: Operate mixing equipment to blend resin materials according to formulas and production requirements Follow detailed recipes, work instructions, and production orders with accuracy Transfer finished resin into barrels using pumping equipment Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Complete production records and batch documentation Assist with material handling and inventory-related tasks as needed Follow all safety procedures and hazardous material handling requirements
WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
Our most successful Resin Mixers are dependable, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and take pride in producing quality work. This is a great fit for someone who likes to stay busy, stay focused, and work without constant supervision. If you're the type of person who enjoys putting your head down, getting the job done, and seeing the results of your efforts, you'll likely thrive in this role. Experience following recipes, formulas, or detailed procedures is highly valued. Candidates with experience in breweries, food production facilities, manufacturing environments, or similar production settings often excel in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
(MUST HAVES): At least one year of stable, recent work history Strong math skills Ability to read and follow formulas and production orders Previous experience operating machinery or mechanical equipment preferred Strong planning and organizational skills Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Ability to work overtime as needed Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently lift and move 50-pound bags throughout the shift Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials during a 12-hour shift Stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Top performers may mix up to 40 barrels during a shift, requiring the handling of up to 80 bags weighing 50 pounds each throughout the workday.
