Job Purpose Support the plant in performing a combination of various tasks as a member of the team. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Perform clean-up and utility duties under direction from supervisor (sweeping floors, picking up trash, painting, cleaning equipment, etc.) Examine press panels for surface defects and discard defective parts. Assist in packaging of finished products. Transfer panels to storage area. Conduct complete and accurate recordkeeping. Provide general relief in support of line positions during breaks assigned. Other duties as assigned. What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Understand and obey all safety policies, standards, and regulations at company, state, and federal levels. Recognize and comply with all environmental policies and procedures including spill response, general waste, and wood waste procedures. Excellent time management and teamwork skills. Advanced knowledge of line position duties and functions. Advance knowledge of plant clean-up and utility functions. Ability to use a chainsaw. Moderate knowledge of JHA, JSA, Job Processes Maps, and Environmental Management System for this position.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

No experience required. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. Work Environment Mill environment, dusty, not temperature controlled
