Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Your expertise will support the production process by conducting thorough inspections, performing quality audits, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ASME codes & standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in quality assurance practices. Duties Conduct detailed quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify adherence to quality standards. Perform regular quality audits across production lines to identify deviations and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, inspection results, and process performance to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all inspection activities to maintain safety standards. Maintain accurate records of inspection outcomes, non-conformances, and corrective actions using Microsoft Office tools and specialized quality management systems. Verify that manufacturing processes comply with FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures effectively. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into quality systems. Assist in developing and updating quality procedures, checklists, and inspection protocols aligned with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards. Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization by providing training or guidance on quality control practices. Requirements Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality standards in production, including FDA regulations, GMP practices, and ASME codes & standards. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed quality audits and inspections accurately. Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and reporting using Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards applicable to manufacturing industries such as food safety or medical devices. Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and quality assurance processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards effectively. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and documentation purposes.
