CONTROL LINE INSPECTOR
Pay & Available Shifts 1st Shift | 7:00 AM

$23.00/hour What You'll Do Perform routine quality inspections on filling, labeling, and packaging lines. Verify line clearance and setup before production begins and during changeovers. Inspect fill levels, container integrity, labeling, coding, and overall product appearance. Identify and report defects including leaks, mislabeling, contamination, and other non-conformances. Ensure production activities follow cGMP requirements, SOPs, and FDA regulations , including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 . Complete inspection logs, batch records, deviation reports, and other required documentation. Collect in-process samples according to established sampling plans. Perform visual and basic inspection checks and submit samples to the QC laboratory when required. Verify correct labels, cartons, containers, and other production components. Confirm material reconciliation and identify discrepancies. Support investigations and escalate quality issues appropriately. Work closely with Production, QA, Warehouse, and QC teams. Support internal, customer, and FDA audits.
What We're Looking For Required:
High school diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and ability to escalate quality concerns. Basic math and inspection skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Associate degree. 1-3 years of experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, OTC, or related manufacturing. Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment . Familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Parts 210 & 211 . Knowledge of Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
