Quality Control Inspector Find Great People - 4.3 Columbia, SC Job Details Full-time $24 - $26 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Laboratory procedures Teamwork High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Full Job Description We are partnering with a growing medical device manufacturer in the Columbia, SC area to identify a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a regulated environment, has a passion for quality, and takes pride in ensuring products meet the highest standards before reaching customers. As a member of the Quality team, you will assist with the inspection and verification of finished products and raw materials, support quality system activities, and help maintain compliance with industry requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and verify finished products and raw materials for compliance with specifications
  • Create and maintain Certificates of Compliance
  • Review and approve work orders and work instructions
  • Utilize inspection and laboratory equipment, including microscopes and tensile testers
  • Identify, quarantine, and maintain control of non-conforming materials and products
  • Assist with complaint investigations, CAPA activities, and RMA processing
  • Support document control and quality records management
  • Maintain calibrated and non-calibrated equipment records within the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Assist with electronic QMS tickets, requests, and workflow activities
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and established quality procedures
  • Prepare quality reports, schedules, procedures, and work instructions as needed
  • Support multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Inspection, Manufacturing, Medical Device, or regulated industry experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply detailed procedures and requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and remain self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities without sacrificing accuracy
  • Professional and collaborative approach when working across departments
  • Knowledge of document control and quality systems preferred
  • Experience supporting CAPA, complaint investigations, or RMA processes is a plus #search

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
