Job Description

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes within the warehouse to ensure that all products meet the company's standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting incoming and outgoing goods, managing quality documentation, and coordinating with other departments to address and resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments and outgoing orders to ensure compliance with quality standards. Verify product specifications, packaging, and labeling for accuracy. Inspect and approve or disapprove customized garments. Monitor warehouse processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality control standards. Identify and address any deviations or inconsistencies in the quality control process. Maintain accurate and detailed quality control documentation, including inspection reports, quality issue logs, and compliance records. Ensure all records are up-to-date and properly filed. Identify, document, and investigate quality issues or defects. Read and understand Manufacturing Work Orders (MOs). Utilize company intranet by scanning MO's to the correct department. Work with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments to resolve quality problems and implement corrective actions. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the warehouse. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Provide regular updates to management on quality performance. Identify opportunities for improving quality control processes and procedures. Recommend and implement changes to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations, preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with shipping software, warehouse management systems (WMS). Basic computer skills. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with shipping processes, documentation, and carrier management. Ability to operate a forklift, as needed.

From $16.50 per hour
