$90,000 - $100,000 per year (DOE) About Us De Silva Brothers & Company is a Los Angeles-based spice manufacturing and CPG firm committed to delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality products. We are seeking a QA Manager to oversee food safety, compliance, and quality systems across our operations. Key Responsibilities Lead food safety and quality programs (FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, FSMA). Manage audits, certifications, and compliance documentation. Develop and enforce SOPs across production, packaging, and warehouse. Investigate quality issues and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Train and mentor QA staff and production teams on food safety practices. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspectors and auditors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing (spices/seasonings a plus). Knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and FSMA regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Certifications SQF Practitioner Certification PCQI Certification HACCP Certification What We Offer Competitive salary ($90,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience).
