Fast-growing clinical laboratory specializing in molecular diagnostics. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Molecular Department T ech assist in molecular diagnostics operations, with a strong emphasis on PCR method development and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

perform real-time PCR testing using Thermo Fisher QuantStudio 5 and 7 assist in development and validation of molecular assays (UTI, STI, respiratory, etc.) Create, review, and maintain SOPs and validation documentation Perform patient testing in both PCR and toxicology Maintain quality assurance and prepare for regulatory inspections Perform routine bench work, including Saturday testing

Required Qualifications:

Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license in Molecular or Microbiology —

REQUIRED

Florida Clinical Chemistry license strongly preferred to support toxicology testing Minimum 5 years of experience in PCR method development, assay validation, and laboratory operations Strong experience in lab compliance, QA programs, and inspection readiness Hands-on proficiency with Thermo Fisher QuantStudio 5 and 7 platforms Working knowledge of manual PCR setup and non-prefilled plate protocols Previous experience in a supervisory or lead technologist role —
