full-time QA Manager - Contract | Lake Mary, FL 12-month contract | Hybrid Summary A 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance across a major technology transformation. This role combines on-site QA leadership with hands-on testing expertise, coordinating a offshore team and supporting a web application programme. The successful candidate will drive sprint delivery, regression testing, automation alignment and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the QA function on-site, coordinating a predominantly offshore QA team and ensuring quality deliverables remain aligned with sprint and project timelines. Define and drive QA strategy, including regression testing, defect management, process documentation and continuous improvement across the programme. Partner with automation specialists to support the integration and effective use of automation frameworks within the QA process. Provide clear QA reporting and stakeholder communication, including quality metrics, delivery status, risks and defects, while remaining hands-on with testing during critical delivery periods. Key Requirements Significant QA Manager or QA Lead experience delivering quality assurance for complex web application projects. Strong hands-on QA expertise, including regression testing, defect tracking and practical experience. Proven experience leading distributed onshore/offshore QA teams within sprint-based delivery environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate QA status, risks and issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
