Overview We are a food Manufacturer located in Cumming, GA. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SQF Practitioner to lead and maintain our Food Safety and Quality Management System in accordance with the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program standards. As an integral part of our quality assurance team, you will ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to rigorous food safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold compliance with industry regulations, and foster a culture of excellence across production operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence food safety practices and elevate product quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the SQF certification program across all relevant departments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular internal audits to verify adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant quality standards. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for any non-conformances identified during audits or inspections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including production, engineering, and supply chain—to establish and monitor quality systems that meet or exceed regulatory/legal compliance standards such as FDA regulations. Facilitate ongoing training programs on food safety protocols, GMP practices, Six Sigma methodologies, Lean management principles, and other quality assurance techniques. Perform quality inspections and audits at various stages of manufacturing to ensure products meet strict quality control criteria. Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit findings, corrective actions, training records, and compliance reports to support certification audits and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within the food or pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of

HACCP, CGMP

(Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to food safety. Excellent understanding of quality management systems (QMS), QA/QC processes, and lean management principles applied in manufacturing environments. Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and team leadership in a fast-paced setting. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to identify issues swiftly and implement effective corrective actions. Project management experience with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
