Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts across construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of quality control management, ensuring that construction activities adhere strictly to building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in construction quality, foster compliance with regulatory standards, and uphold the highest levels of safety and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes positively while working within a collaborative and energetic team environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control plans aligned with construction specifications and regulatory standards. Conduct thorough inspections and quality assessments on construction sites, including structural systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, ensuring adherence to building codes such as plumbing building codes, mechanical building codes, electrical building codes, and energy building codes. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to verify compliance during various phases of construction. Manage quality inspection processes by collecting data, analyzing inspection results, and documenting findings accurately for review and action. Lead construction quality assurance initiatives by coordinating with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly. Ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations and construction regulations by conducting regular site audits and enforcing safety protocols. Oversee the management of contracts related to quality control activities while maintaining detailed records of inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken. Utilize construction management software and Microsoft Office tools to track progress, generate reports, and communicate findings effectively across teams. Provide leadership to the quality control team by training staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with project teams to review construction plans and specifications for potential quality risks or compliance issues before work begins. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a focus on quality control management within commercial or industrial projects. Extensive knowledge of construction site operations combined with hands-on experience in construction inspection and quality assurance processes. Strong understanding of building codes including plumbing building codes, mechanical building codes, electrical building codes, energy building codes, and structural systems. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and analyze complex technical data effectively. Experience managing construction regulatory compliance programs in accordance with federal safety regulations and local building standards. Skilled in using construction management software for data collection, reporting, and project tracking purposes. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to train staff on quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Pay:
$53,088.00 - $65,000.00 per year
