Job Description

Position Summary The Quality Manager works closely with Engineering, Management, Production teams, and customers to address and resolve quality‑related issues. This role is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining customer and regulatory requirements, including
ISO 9001
2015, ISO ASD9100D and
ISO 14001
2015 Management Systems. The position serves as the Management Representative for third‑party certifications and customer audits, and oversees preventive and corrective actions for internal nonconformities, customer complaints, and supplier issues. Key Responsibilities Lead and conduct Management Reviews of the Quality Management System. Ensure document control and design control processes meet ISO requirements, including justification for exclusions. Review and update the Emergency Response Plan, Fire Prevention Plan, and SPCC Spill Prevention Plans. Provide crane operation and maintenance training to personnel. Complete and certify SARA Title III Form‑R and Tier II reports. Perform, document, and approve internal quality audits; supervise and train internal auditors. Maintain quality assurance records and oversee retention requirements. Conduct environmental compliance evaluations and maintain required documentation. Manage quality validation protocols. Approve steel anneal and heat‑treat certifications and communicate results to customers. Perform additional duties as assigned to support and improve overall operations. Position Requirements Technical education and 3-5 years of experience in Quality Management. Demonstrated success implementing and maintaining multiple ISO Management Systems and meeting customer requirements. Ability to work independently, take initiative, meet deadlines, and manage all aspects of the quality department. Skills & Knowledge Strong customer‑facing communication skills and professional interpersonal abilities. Ability to develop work instructions, visual aids, flow charts, and EMS control plans. Skilled in calibrating measurement equipment including gage pins, gage blocks, calibration standards, and hardness testers. Experience supporting customer documentation such as FMEAs, APQP, and PPAP. Ability to train internal personnel and customers on quality and environmental processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
