Full-Time Job Summary The Quality Control Supervisor leads the Quality Control team and ensures products meet customer, company, and regulatory quality standards. This role supervises QC Technicians, supports production quality, resolves quality issues, and promotes continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and develop Quality Control Technicians. Manage staffing, attendance, performance, training, and daily department operations. Inspect production parts and identify, document, and resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949
standards. Conduct internal process audits and support corrective actions. Create and communicate quality alerts and solutions. Manage quality measuring equipment and support the calibration program. Assist with customer and supplier PPAP activities. Support APQP, FMEA, process validation, and process capability activities. Promote 5S, safety, and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate employee and quality records. Provide hands-on QC support when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of Quality Technician or related quality experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of quality systems, statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process validation. Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and process capability studies preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Technical college degree preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift and carry aluminum products weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with temperature variations.
