QE Manager

Bel Air, MD (Hybrid)

Position:

FTE Candidate should have strong insurance domain experience. We are seeking a QE Manager (Software QA Supervisor) to lead a high-performing QA team, drive quality assurance best practices, and ensure the delivery of defect-free software. The ideal candidate will bring deep QA expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of managing both onshore and offshore QA resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of software testers (onshore and offshore) Define and implement test strategies, plans, and scripts for functional and regression testing Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to align QA efforts with project goals Ensure the highest quality standards across software products and third-party integrations Lead test automation initiatives and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Establish and uphold QA best practices and testing frameworks Generate comprehensive reports on QA activities, including metrics, defects, and test coverage Identify process bottlenecks and work to remove testing roadblocks

Requirements What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software testing Prior experience supervising QA teams and offshore resources Strong knowledge of regression testing and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
