Salary Range:

$25.75 - $33.25 QUALITY LEAD Position Summary The Quality Lead serves as a senior technical resource within the Quality department, providing hands-on quality inspection support, guidance, and coordination across manufacturing operations. This position acts as a primary liaison between Quality and department Supervisors and serves as the go-to resource for questions regarding product quality, customer specifications, inspection requirements, and quality processes. The Quality Lead performs inspection responsibilities while also helping coordinate Quality workflow, investigate quality concerns, support problem resolution, and ensure established quality standards are consistently applied throughout the manufacturing process. When Quality management is not present, the Quality Lead serves as the primary Quality resource on the production floor. This is a working lead position and does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Serve as a go-to Quality resource on the production floor, providing guidance on quality standards, customer specifications, inspection requirements, and quality processes. Partner with department Supervisors and production teams to identify, communicate, and resolve quality concerns throughout the manufacturing process. Perform quality inspections and review job specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements and established quality standards. Identify defects and nonconforming product, with the authority to stop production or place work on hold when quality requirements are not being met. Assist with investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions to prevent recurring problems. Help coordinate daily Quality workflow and inspection priorities and serve as the primary Quality resource on the floor when Quality management is unavailable. Support the training and development of Quality team members while promoting consistent quality and safety standards across the operation.
