Reporting directly to the President , the Quality Manager will have the leadership visibility and organizational influence to identify opportunities, implement meaningful improvements, and drive measurable results across the company. You'll have the opportunity to: Lead transformation — Develop and execute strategies that strengthen quality performance across the organization. Build great teams — Develop Quality Engineering, auditing, and metrology capabilities while creating a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility. Work directly with leadership — Partner with the President and senior leadership team to shape operational and quality strategy. Influence across the organization — Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Customers, and Suppliers. Solve meaningful problems — Use structured problem-solving, data, root-cause analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate recurring issues. Strengthen our systems — Identify opportunities within the Quality Management System and turn them into sustainable improvements. Develop people — Train and coach employees at all levels in quality methods, statistical tools, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Support innovation — Ensure robust APQP and PPAP processes for successful new product launches. The Role As Quality Manager, you will be the organization's senior leader for continuous quality improvement and the ongoing development of a world-class quality culture. You'll provide leadership for Quality Engineering and factory-floor quality auditing while ensuring our processes meet customer expectations and applicable quality standards.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Lead companywide continuous quality improvement initiatives and sustain IATF 16949 and
ISO 9001
compliance. Establish strategies to address quality opportunities and improve overall manufacturing performance. Lead efforts to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve profitability. Own the response to customer concerns, complaints, rejects, and quality issues. Build strong, proactive communication with customers and suppliers regarding quality performance and improvement opportunities. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action activities and ensure CARs are effectively resolved. Develop and mentor Quality Engineering personnel while building organizational capability. Implement statistical techniques and data-driven approaches to support continual improvement. Provide training in quality tools, statistical methods, and problem-solving techniques. Ensure APQP and PPAP processes are effective and consistently executed during new product launches. Partner with manufacturing and other functional leaders to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and implement sustainable improvements. Support initiatives that reduce waste, improve productivity, lower operating costs, and strengthen overall business performance. What We're Looking For We're looking for a leader who combines technical quality expertise with business perspective and people leadership .
You bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred . 8+ years of manufacturing experience , including at least 5 years in a Quality Management leadership role . Proven experience in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment . Deep, practical knowledge of IATF 16949 and quality management systems. Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
requirements. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience using statistical techniques and quality tools to drive measurable improvement. The ability to develop, coach, and inspire people at all levels of an organization. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, production teams, engineers, and senior leadership. The initiative to identify opportunities, take ownership, and turn ideas into results. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
