College degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of Quality Control experience preferred
ISO 9000/AS9100
experience preferred
Ability to coordinate and lead a team of employees in the functions of the Quality Control department
Coordinate and maintain efficient throughput of product to meet customer delivery schedules
Computer skills to include report creation, data analysis and data entry
Good written and verbal skills
Detail oriented
Strong people skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple, concurrent responsibilities, many needing immediate resolution Responsibilities /
Essential Functions:
QC Manager 1. Provide leadership by setting goals and providing the necessary tools for operating in an efficient team manner that accentuates safety, quality, and high productivity. 2. Assign work to department team members to meet internal and external customer requirements. 3. Ensure department records and paperwork are properly maintained. 4. Work directly with customers and suppliers on resolving quality issues. 5. Work closely with Engineering and Sales on continuous improvement of the quality systems. 6. Deal directly with personnel issues as they occur. Follow established company procedures and policies in resolving issues. 7. Responsible for evaluating employee performance, providing and coordinating education and training to keep personnel focused on continual improvement. 8. Must be knowledgeable in all measurement techniques. 9. Responsible for recruiting and screening applicants for department positions as openings arise. Internal Auditor 10. Achieve internal auditor competency. 11. Analyze & answer audit questions outlined in internal audit plans. 12. Research records & documents, interview employees & initiate corrective/preventive action. Other 13. Knowledge that Continental Cable is an ISO/AS certified company and understands the Quality Policy. 14. Understands Continental Cable's FOD policy. 15. Be an active participant in the company ISO/AS program. 16. Maintain a safe work environment at all times and follow all Continental Cable safety policies including safety glasses, work shoes, and all required personal protective equipment. 17. Perform other duties as required.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
