Position Summary The Manager/ Director of Quality is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing EvolvOptic's quality strategy and ensuring the highest standards of product quality, measurement integrity, and operational excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the President, this role provides strategic and technical leadership for quality assurance and compliance. Leadership Expectations Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, driving a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction while enabling EvolvOptic's growth in commercial space, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and scientific optics markets. Primary Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's quality strategy aligned with business objectives. Provide executive leadership for Quality, Inspection, Calibration and Compliance functions. Lead and continuously improve the QMS and all audit activities. Establish quality KPIs and drive CAPA, root cause analysis, and operational excellence. Lead supplier quality and serve as the senior customer quality interface. Support proposals, NPI, program execution, and manufacturing readiness reviews. Build and mentor a high-performing Quality organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive quality, metrology, or manufacturing leadership experience. 5+ years in a management or director-level leadership role. Experience in precision optics, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or scientific instrumentation preferred. Strong knowledge of optical manufacturing, advanced metrology, ISO 9001, AS9100, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and GD&T.
