3019031713-2 Apply for this job now Job Description ALPLA Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead plant-wide quality systems for innovative plastic packaging. In this on-site role, you will own QA/QC processes, audits, and customer complaint resolution while partnering closely with production, engineering, and supply chain. You will analyze quality data, drive root-cause problem solving, and implement corrective and preventive actions. You will also train teams on quality standards, support new product launches, and champion a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead quality management systems for plastic packaging manufacturing operations Develop, implement, and audit QA/QC procedures to meet customer and regulatory standards Monitor production quality metrics and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions Coordinate internal and external quality audits and customer complaints management Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to improve processes and reduce defects Train and coach plant teams on quality standards, documentation, and inspection methods Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and sustainability-related quality requirements Manage quality documentation, specifications, and change control processes Support new product introductions and trials with robust quality planning Report quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives to site and regional leadership Required Skills Quality management systems (QMS) Statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis Root cause analysis and corrective action (8 D, fishbone, 5 Whys) ISO 9001 or comparable quality standards Process validation and capability (CP, CPK) Internal and supplier auditing Documentation control and change management Customer complaint and nonconformance management Manufacturing process knowledge (plastics, injection/stretch blow molding) Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
