Job Description

Vector's partner is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement for a manufacturing company specializing in chemical processing for military and aerospace applications. This role is responsible for maintaining robust quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, leading audits, driving corrective actions, and strengthening procedures and process controls across a multi-building manufacturing campus. Direct Hire $80k-$100k/yr., depending upon experience
Responsibilities:
Lead the site Quality function, ensuring the quality management system supports safe, compliant, and repeatable manufacturing processes. Own and execute heavy auditing activity, including audit planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up actions. Maintain and support compliance in a NADCAP-accredited environment; coordinate NADCAP requirements, readiness, and corrective action responses as needed. Plan, conduct, and support AS9100 audits (internal and external) and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable aerospace quality requirements. Drive a strong Corrective Action program (including problem containment, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and verification of effectiveness). Develop, revise, train to, and enforce SOPs and work instructions to ensure standardized and compliant operations. Lead and support process improvement initiatives to reduce variation, improve capability, and strengthen product/process quality (Lean/Six Sigma approaches encouraged). Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to identify risks, implement controls, and promote a culture of quality and accountability.
Requirements:
3-7 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Lean / Six
Sigma experience (applied continuous improvement experience preferred). Demonstrated experience supporting regulated or high-compliance manufacturing environments (military/aerospace exposure strongly preferred). Strong audit leadership experience (internal/external), with the ability to manage findings through closure. #IND101
