The QCM reports to the Project Manager and works collaboratively with the Superintendent while maintaining independent authority over project quality and contract compliance.

Job Summary The Quality Control Manager (QCM) serves as the project leader for all quality-related activities and is responsible for ensuring the project is constructed in strict accordance with the contract documents, federal quality requirements, and Bridger's standards of excellence. The QCM has independent authority to identify deficiencies, stop nonconforming work when necessary, lead the three phases of quality control, and work collaboratively with project leadership to deliver a safe, compliant, and high-quality project. The individual holding this position is required to report to a project site five days a week. It is expected that the individual lives within proximity of the project location or the surrounding areas. Bridger offers a housing allowance to cover the cost of living if a candidate must relocate. Our projects typically range from 1 - 3 years in length. Responsibilities Quality Leadership
Develop and administer the Project Quality Control Plan
Lead Preparatory, Initial and Follow-Up inspections
Coordinate inspections and testing
Maintain QC documentation Contract Compliance
Coordinate Testing Agencies
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Coordinate Punch Lists
Verify work complies with plans/specifications
Review submittals
Review RFIs
Review mockups
Review commissioning documentation
Coordinate owner inspections
Support project closeout documentation Team Leadership
Mentor field staff
Coordinate with Owner
Coordinate with designers
Coordinate with subcontractors Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years managing quality control on federal construction projects with demonstrated experience administering the three phases of quality control.
Experience working in occupied healthcare facilities or other mission-critical environments.
Proficiency using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and other digital construction management tools.
A thorough understanding of construction materials, means, methods, and building systems.
Ability to write and comprehend RFIs.
Ability to clearly communicate to home office, Owner, and Subcontractors.
Availability to work on any shift-1st, 2nd, or 3rd-as hospital construction occurs at all hours.
Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test.
