JOB STATEMENT

This job requires a person to have knowledge in Quality procedures and applications, to direct quality personnel and assure that appropriate skills and training are provided. Establish and maintain a quality system and assist the staff in the overall direction of the quality system.

JOB DUTIES 1.

Identify products and critical points of product flow that require inspection and testing. 2. Provide quality personnel with the appropriate skills and training to perform their required responsibilities. 3. Supervise Quality Assurance Personnel in their daily activities to assure the inspection and testing of incoming, work in process, finished goods, and rework materials meet quality standards. 4. Establish and maintain accurate procedures, inspection standards, and records. 5. Identify problem areas through internal reports and communicate to other departments. 6. Interface with customers to resolve quality related issues and develop quality standards. 7. Participate in Six Sigma projects. 8. Coordinate the activities and projects of the Lean 6 Coordinator. 9. Manage the Cost of Quality. 10. Coordinate the use and training of the CMM Machine.

JOB SPECIFICATION 1.

Six Sigma Black Belt qualification or equivalent experiences, education, or training. 2. Express good communication skills both oral and written. 3. Ability to plan and organize departmental activities. 4. Must have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of the

ISO 9000

Standards. 5. Basic understanding of all Quality Assurance equipment. 6. Basic Computer skills.
