Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Initiates and monitors the QMS to identify and address significant quality issues with products and processes. Designs, develops, and analyzes the current Quality System to determine the effectiveness in creating the desired outputs. Monitors Warranty, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control to verify critical and accurate information is relayed to the appropriate departments to initiate change. Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data to hit plant PPM targets. Track, Report and Display plant Quality KPI data. Meets with customers to discuss metrics, strategies, and developments. Develops long and short-term quality strategies to meet customer requirements. Builds and develops relationships with internal and external customers with the intent to identify and correct problems resulting from the quality of the product. Analyzes quality issues to recommend and drive proactive change through the organization. Builds an influential and effective network and communication with site Leadership team members in driving overall plant performance relying on a strong culture of Quality and Continuous Improvement. Oversees and directs department personnel activities including planning and prioritizing assignments. Includes supervising day-to-day activities of employees including employee selection, training, and disciplinary action. Develop robust 5S continuous improvement strategy in partnership with business stakeholders. Delivery and support of 5S changes and initiatives contributing towards improvement standards. Assists Engineering managers in development of countermeasures and improvements.
Experience Requirements:
Five (5) years of quality systems experience required. Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
Education Requirements:
