The QA/QC Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Channelview, TX. This position oversees quality assurance and quality control activities for power generation and electrical integration projects, ensuring adherence to internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry codes. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality procedures, conducting inspections and audits, reviewing test documentation, and verifying that manufactured and installed systems meet specified performance criteria. The QA/QC Manager collaborates with engineering, production, and project management teams to resolve nonconformances, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves training team members on quality policies, maintaining certifications and records, and preparing quality reports for internal and client review.

Qualifications:

Experience in quality management within industrial, power generation, or electrical systems environments, including QA/QC program development and implementation. Strong skills in inspection, testing oversight, documentation review, and nonconformance management for mechanical and electrical components. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO quality frameworks, electrical codes, and safety standards) and ability to apply them in daily operations. Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement practices. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers, including report writing and presentation of findings. Ability to lead and coach team members on quality procedures, foster a culture of accountability, and support training on QA/QC best practices. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced industrial setting. Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field; equivalent experience in QA/QC leadership may be considered. Prior experience in turbine packaging, industrial manufacturing, or electrical integration projects is highly beneficial. Pay:

$89,900.00 - $109,000.00 per year
