Full Job Description Quality Manager Location:
Orange, TX, or Pasadena, TX About STS Industrial STS Industrial, a NEFCO company, is a rapidly growing industrial supply company with locations in Sulphur, LA; Orange, TX; and Pasadena, TX, as well as an enterprise-level eCommerce platform. The Opportunity We are seeking a Quality Manager to support our warehouse and distribution operations. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and continuously improve STS Industrial Inc.'s Quality Control Program. This position ensures that quality processes, material documentation, and adherence to customer requirements are consistently maintained throughout the organization. They will work across most parts of the business to continuously improve our operations. The Quality Assurance Manager will provide leadership and oversight of our quality assurance activities related to materials, documentation, traceability, and compliance while supporting STS Industrial's operations and sales departments. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee STS Industrial's Quality Control Program across all applicable locations. Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality assurance policies, procedures, and processes. Investigate root causes of quality concerns, discrepancies, non-conformances, and customer complaints. Collaborate with the business units to coordinate corrective actions and measures. Conduct internal quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established procedures. Maintain records and documentation related to quality assurance activities, corrective actions, and process improvements. Manage a growing QA/QC Team Assist with customer, vendor, and internal quality audits as needed. Serve as a subject matter expert for quality-related questions and concerns. Other duties and responsibilities as needed or required by the business. Required Experience A high school degree, or equivalent, is required. A college degree is a nice-to-have, but not required. At least 3 years of experience in quality control and management. Experience in supply chain, distribution, and logistics is preferred. Self-motivated and the ability to be proactive. Relentless attention to detail. A collaborative and influential communicator with the ability to manage change. Great problem-solving skills with an interest in improving processes. Professional and respectful demeanor. Great written and oral communication skills. A collaborative team player with the ability to operate cross-functionally. Quick learner who is comfortable with adapting to an evolving and growing business. Comfortable with asking questions and seeking guidance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ISO9001 is a plus Experience with industrial supply and distribution is a plus Compensation This is a salaried position with a target annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
