Active SQF Practitioner and HACCP Certified (PCQI preferred).

Proven track record leading FDA, USDA, and

GFSI/SQF

Core Responsibilities Audit & Regulatory Leadership:

Command all FDA, USDA, customer, and 3rd-party

GFSI/SQF

audits, ensuring top-tier scores.

Cold-Chain & Food Safety Science:

Oversee CCPs specific to frozen and fresh food production, including rapid freezing, thermal processing, environmental sampling, and micro-testing.

Floor-First Quality Culture:

Spend 50%+ of your time on the production floor coaching, auditing, and enforcing quality standards alongside production staff.

Technical ERP & Formula Management:

Manage master formulas, product specifications, and lot traceability in Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar ERP systems).

Sanitation & Lab Oversight:

Direct QA lab technicians and manage facility-wide sanitation, environmental monitoring, and pest control programs. Qualifications ("Must-Haves") 6+

Years QA/QC Leadership:

Specific experience in Frozen Food Processing, Fresh Prepared Foods, or Cold-Chain Industrial Manufacturing .

Bilingual Proficiency:

Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Mandatory Credentials:

Active SQF Practitioner and HACCP Certification required.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.

Technical Systems:

Proficient with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred) and MS Excel for waste trending and data tracking.
