Purpose of Position:

In general, this position works under the direction of the Community Behavioral Health Manager to assist in providing quality assurance and compliance for behavioral health programming. This position will also provide recommendations regarding program improvement. Function as a liaison with staff and contracted providers regarding quality assurance activities. Attend and participate in all assigned meetings. Complete all paperwork associated with the position. Accept assignments as deemed necessary. Attend training as provided and which is deemed necessary.

• Complete quality assurance and compliance reviews for behavioral health programming
• Conduct routine audits of case files, progress notes, treatment plans, and documentation to ensure program compliance
• Conduct routine audits of staff/provider qualifications
• Analyze data and reports to identify trends and assist in developing quality improvement initiatives or corrective action plans
• Communicates regularly with staff and contracted providers regarding the current status and importance of quality assurance
• Assist with providing training to staff and contracted providers on documentation standards and regulation changes
• Assists the CBH Manager with state audits and site reviews from the Department of Health Services
• Works closely with the CBH Manager and CBH Clinical Supervisors related to quality control standards
• Assist with coordinating communication with providers through technology and in person meetings
• Attends unit meetings as deemed necessary
• Complete trainings as required
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work or closely related field from an accredited college or university OR four years of experience working within a human services department that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work with experience providing quality assurance.

Ability to organize work and develop work procedures with minimum supervision; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the staff and general public; ability to prepare and maintain records. Must be dependable, tactful, and maintain confidentiality. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

$28.53 - $32.61 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
