requirements, and project specifications through inspections, documentation, and coordination with production and project teams. Key Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections of structural steel welding in shop and field environments Inspect welds for compliance with

, drawings, and project specifications Verify welder qualifications, WPS, and PQRs Inspect fit-up, joint preparation, preheat, interpass temperatures, and finished welds Review material certifications (MTRs) and maintain material traceability Coordinate, witness, and review NDT results as required Document nonconformances and verify corrective actions Maintain inspection reports and quality records for project closeout Support AISC certification requirements and internal/external audits Required Qualifications Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification Experience in structural steel fabrication and/or erection Working knowledge of

Structural Welding Code - Steel Ability to read structural drawings, shop drawings, and welding symbols Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in an AISC-certified fabrication shop NDT Level II certification (UT, MT, PT) Experience with bolting inspection (RCSC) Work Environment Shop and subcontractor inspections; ability to work around active fabrication areas.
