What you'll need to succeed as an Inspector, Manufacturing at XPO Minimum qualifications: style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px
-High degree of assembling skills and techniques
Ability to use various measuring tools and inspection instruments

-High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Proven ability to follow directions, remain engaged/productive and demonstrate flexibility/adaptability to changing conditions and expectations
Solid communication skills; able to collaborate and communicate respectfully while supporting others in a team environment

-Audit and monitor quality requirements by the company's quality policies and customer specifications
Document and report inspection findings
Perform accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspections of materials, components and sub-assemblies per the inspection plans and specification requirements
Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions and issues
Conduct various quality checks and tests on products to ensure that tested products fall within standards, measured specifications and tolerances
Use various measuring/inspection instruments and safely perform work; maintain a 5-S environment
Partner with the Engineering team to ensure compliance with blueprints and drawings
Demonstrate and lead others in executing XPO's core values and complying with policies and procedures
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management Inspector, Manufacturers are required to: style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px
-Follow safety rules and work in a safe manner
Perform work in a manufacturing environment
Work outside if necessary
Perform fine manipulations of parts
Safely walk, reach (including above head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel in strained and awkward positions for prolonged periods
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
