Position Title:

Quality Assurance Technician Report To:

QA Supervisor Position Summary Entry level position in Quality Assurance. The QA Technician will work in raw material, wash lines, and pack out. The QA Technician will test products according to specifications and validate products are produced within specifications. The QA Technician will also be responsible for recording results of the data and reporting the results. The QA Technician is responsible for enforcing good manufacturing practices. In addition, the QA Technician is also responsible for conducting shelf life evaluation on retain products and new product development. Must be able to work closely with others, have a good work ethic and be willing to work varied hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspects incoming raw material, work in progress, and finished goods according to specification Pre-operational inspections Replenish chemicals Performs tests and records data Conducts Good Manufacturing Practice Audits Conducts checks at Critical Control Points Ensures compliance with HACCP, GMP and Safety Reports on shelf life results Other duties as needed Qualifications Must have general computer skills Good teamwork and communication skills Punctual and reliable Willingness to cross train Ability to work within a flexible schedule Education and Experience One year plus experience or experience in production environment preferred Must be able to read and write in English Bilingual English - Spanish a plus Working Conditions Working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
