Position Summary Reynolds Systems Inc. (RSI) is a small high-tech business that focuses on the manufacturing of micro-electronic components in support of the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to work within our Quality Department. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and documenting products and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and company requirements. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to identify quality issues, support corrective actions, and help maintain consistent product quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to accurately interpret drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform inspections of raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished products. Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring and testing equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection criteria. Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools. Record inspection results accurately and maintain required quality documentation. Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or products. Assist with investigating the root causes of quality problems and implementing corrective actions. Work with Production personnel to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring devices are properly calibrated and in good working condition. Assist with maintaining and updating quality records, inspection reports, and nonconformance documentation. Monitor production processes for compliance with established procedures and quality standards. Assist with serialization of hardware Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspection, or manufacturing preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles. Ability to use precision measuring and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter and maintain inspection data. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of quality control or manufacturing inspection experience. Experience with AS 9100 or similar quality management systems. Experience using inspection equipment and gauges. Experience with quality documentation, nonconformance reports, and corrective actions. Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC). Experience with CMM or other advanced inspection equipment. Technical or manufacturing-related coursework or certification. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift and move materials or components weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform detailed visual inspections. Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Environment The Quality Control Technician works primarily in a manufacturing/production environment and may be exposed to machinery, noise, temperature variations, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment and safety procedures must be followed at all times. Performance Expectations The Quality Control Technician is expected to consistently perform accurate and timely inspections, properly document quality results, promptly identify and communicate quality concerns, and work collaboratively with other departments to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement.

Pay:
