M-F 7am to 3:30pm Job Overview Guidex Group is seeking a detail-oriented Quality & Customer Support Coordinator for a manufacturing company in Montebello, CA. This position supports both the Quality Manager and Account Executive and serves as a customer-facing point of contact when quality, order, or delivery issues arise. This is not an inspection position. The ideal candidate should have enough manufacturing quality knowledge to understand inspection reports, tolerances, certifications, nonconformance issues, and material traceability, while communicating information clearly and professionally to customers. Responsibilities Communicate with customers regarding quality, order, delivery, or material issues Confirm order and quality details with Quality and Production before communicating with customers Assist with resolving nonconforming, damaged, undersized/oversized, or delayed orders Follow up with customers through resolution and document communications Respond to requests for certifications, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation Review inspection reports, material certifications, heat/lot numbers, and tolerances Assist with nonconformance and corrective action records Maintain organized quality documentation and support ISO recordkeeping Enter and verify purchase orders, quotes, credit inquiries, and order status updates Coordinate with Production, Shipping/Receiving, Accounting, and other departments to keep orders on schedule Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing quality, customer service, account support, or related environment Working knowledge of inspection reports, tolerances, certifications, and material traceability Experience handling customer concerns professionally and calmly Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with computer systems and customer/order documentation ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 experience preferred Experience with nonconformance or corrective action documentation is a plus Physical & Work Environment This position is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor. Candidates should be comfortable sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods and wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear, when entering shop areas.
