Performance Improvement Specialist, Quality Astrana Health, Inc. - 1.7 San Gabriel, CA Job Details Full-time $70,304 - $80,000 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Medicare Collaborative technology platforms Microsoft Teams SharePoint Full Job Description Description We are currently seeking a dynamic Performance Improvement Specialist within the Quality Department who will oversee the daily management of quality performance and data reporting requirements for Astrana's accountable care organization (ACO) programs, specifically the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). The Performance Improvement Specialist will be responsible for both field and office activities, delivering ongoing support to our ACO providers. Responsibilities will include supporting ACO Participant Providers in quality measure education; quality outcome reporting readiness; electronic health record (EHR) documentation improvement; EHR system troubleshooting and/or vendor coordination; and quality outcome data submission assistance. What You'll Do Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned provider groups, including decision makers and office staff, to understand quality reporting readiness and processes Partner with assigned providers so they are well informed on ACO Quality performance and reporting requirements Conduct routine visits to providers in the assigned territory to build trust and maintain open communication between our ACOs and providers Deliver personalised, on-site assistance with quality reporting processes at provider offices Independently analyse quality performance gaps, identify improvement opportunities, and lead quality improvement initiatives with market and provider teams to drive performance outcomes Collaborate with Manager to develop and maintain ACO Quality educational materials Communicate clearly and efficiently with providers and office staff Actively participate in cross-functional teams to complete work and resolve provider issues Travel frequently within the assigned service area Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, public health or related field, or equivalent experience Experience 2+ years' experience in healthcare or managed care, working in medical operations and/or quality improvement 2+ years' experience in provider relations, provider services, or related experience in a healthcare setting Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with accountable care organization (ACO) quality reporting strongly preferred Proficiency with common electronic health record (EHR) systems strongly preferred Experience with Medicare Fee-for-Service Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor information to different audiences Strong priority management, able to work independently and manage time and resources effectively High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams) Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1600 Corporate Center Dr, Monterey Park, CA 91754. Must be able to travel frequently to provider offices in assigned service area: San Gabriel Valley. The target pay range for this role is between $70,304 - $80,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
