This candidate should have experience with manufacturing quality processes. The hiring manager will prioritize relevant experience over formal education. The ideal candidate must be familiar with metrology and have strong auditing experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the operations and warehouse teams, meeting with operations personnel, confirming audit requirements, verifying parts, and communicating with technicians. The candidate will also review products and process audits, follow work instructions, ensure the proper tools are being used, inspect inventory, and identify or scrap nonconforming parts. In addition to daily quality responsibilities, this role includes project-based work. The candidate will assist with implementing new processes, participate in pilot runs, and support the evaluation and documentation of new findings and process improvements.

Inspect and test processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defect, wear, and deviations from specifications. Typically has a high school diploma. The technical skills include the knowledge of machines and tools. Education/Experience Associates degree or equivalent experience/training required 5-7 years experience required Responsibility level: Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required) Team player and detail oriented (Required) Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Typically required) Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications. Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications. Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status. Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results. Notify supervisors and other personnel about production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems. Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments. Top 3 Skills you are looking for: 1.
