Quality Inspection Putnam, CT Are you passionate about precision and quality? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Fiberoptic Assembler 1. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assembling and testing fiber optic components to meet the highest standards of excellence. Join our client's team and contribute to innovative solutions in the fiber optics industry. Responsibilities of the Quality Inspection Perform precision assembly of fiber optic components, including connectors, cables, and modules. Follow assembly instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate and compliant assembly. Use specialized tools and equipment to measure, cut, strip, and terminate fiber optic cables. Accurately record all daily production and scrap data. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements of the Quality Inspection High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or vocational certification in a relevant field is a plus. Previous experience in fiber optic assembly or related field is highly preferred. Familiarity with fiber optic assembly techniques, tools, and equipment. Understanding of fiber optic terminations, connectors, and splicing. Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail and exceptional manual dexterity. Proficient in using basic measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
